For a prestigious IT project we are looking for:
Duties:
- Execution of automated and manual tests and handling found defects (submission into database, verification of fix delivered by development team)
- Preparation and maintenance of hardware and software environment for tests and for test frameworks
- Implementation of automated tests (coding and debugging)
- Designing of tests (manual and automated)
- Documenting activities and reporting to manager
- Performing majority of tasks in an efficient manner with occasional assistance from the supervisor
- Implementing software changes in tools supporting chipset to meet specified list of software requirements
- Designing and implementing unit tests
- Software maintenance
- Documenting activities and reporting to supervisor
- Performing majority of tasks in an efficient manner with occasional assistance from the supervisor
- Agile approach to software development following SCRUM methodology
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in working within defined software development lifecycle
- Knowledge of scripting languages (Tcl, Bash, Python, Perl)
- Knowledge of GUI testing (using AutoHotKey or similar tool)
- Problem solving skills
- C/C++ programming skills
- Linux and Windows experience
- Knowledge of low-level software
- Knowledge of PC architecture
- Fluency in English
Additional advantages:
- Previous software or hardware validation experience would be an added advantage
- Knowledge of Clear Case/Clear Quest or other bug tracking and version control systems
